Happy campers at fitness fiesta...

Last weekend this London Doll put down her eyelash tweezers and spent it like no other… At a fitness fiesta in the one and only Pontins!
I’ve not been to a Pontin’s since I was a teen and it was my best friends boyfriends 18th, we spent it drinking WKD and (well myself only) kissing boys. This weekend was nothing of a sort, not only did the 500 to 1 female to male ratio put pay to that, it was also all about the fun of excercising! Now I am usually a one class, one hour max kinda girl, that means I think that if I exercise anything over those 60 loooong sweaty minutes I will pass out, burst into flames or my skin will fall off with the sweat. Little did I know that I could take 8 full on classes in one day! Ok they were’nt all high impact sports bra testing times, we chose a range of different ones, some grueling, others not, we had a great time in ‘Body Art’ with German Sebastien leading the way and making us grin with his outbursts ‘YOU ARE HAVING FUN RIGHT’ Whilst stretching and sliding to some great house beats. Indeed we were having fun! I’d never heard of Armegeddon but my fitness trainer friends (yeah I went with 3 fitness trainers brave eh!!) had told me about Richard’s relentless circuit training as seen on The Biggest Loser. Yeah I’d like to forget about that class, Fight Club was another winner but one of the funniest most endearing times had to be the Camber Hash, Cassie had made me do it claiming it was so much fun, running around the sand dunes with crazy people and you get sweets and a taste of beer at the end, I was very reluctant and even thought of making a quick escape to a charity shop inbetween (you do know lots of old people live by the sea right??) But instead I gave it a go, we basically had to run around chasing a trail of chalk and flour, shouting out directions and following the wrong/ right path, I was soon having bundles of laughs, up the sand dunes and tumbling down, forgetting about the havoc sand causes with all that lycra, and as the 70+ group leader run past us screaming ‘’you do realize you are being overtaken by an OAP’ we could not help but beam from ear to ear, he had certainly made my day. As for the other guests of Pontins…. well it kind of was like another world, my friends did warn me but it is easy to forget what life is like outside of London. As corny as the weekend was wicked fun, and I’ll certainly be there for another time around happy campers!

The charity shops of Orpington start to get a little lighter again...

After the success of Ginge Mary Portas in Orpington on the program  Mary Queen of charity shops , the prices up and down the local high street have shot right up and although I know its for charity, its not bloody designer love! We all still go to charity shops for a bargain! I  recently bought this fab 80's number  by Cockney Rebel down in Save the Children.  With a gorgeous thick waistband and tulip skirt design its so god damn flattering, although a little see-through, its a good job I have great knickers! It was being marked down and I got it for only a fiver! bloody fabulous. Thats the price tag I like to see!

I also bought this gorgeous sweet heart bodiced top and pinched at the waist red figure hugging dress. Retro red and spotty bring me back to my Minnie Mouse days this is one head turning number!

2:54 - You're Early

I Love these girls

Will the dip dye ever leave our eyes?

I still adore the dip dye. I mean one colour is for boring people in Investment banking right? Today I'm loving Charlotte Free's victory roll take on the quiff. I want.
